National Stoneworks Brings Modernism to Music City

National Stoneworks, the multi-family and hospitality arm of Construction Resources, recently finished construction on the new 800-room Omni Nashville Hotel and 200,000 square foot expansion of the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum.

The luxurious Omni hotel, located on Fifth Avenue across from the Music City Center, offers guests a unique, modern experience in the heart of Nashville.  Known as “the key to music city,” the Omni Nashville Hotel has an impressive 80,000 square feet of meeting and event space and popular restaurants and retail venues conveniently located in and around the hotel. Restaurants in the hotel include Barlines, a live entertainment venue, Bob’s Steak & Chop House, Bongo Java Coffee Shop and Kitchen Notes.

Amanda Grimshaw Joins Construction Resources as Design Consultant



Construction Resources announces the hiring of Amanda Grimshaw as a new design consultant. Grimshaw will work at the company’s Decatur Design Center.

A graduate of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio with a degree in interior design, Grimshaw began her career as a showroom consultant for a plumbing wholesaler in Ohio, assisting customers with plumbing selections for kitchen and bath projects. While in Ohio, she also sold cabinetry and designed the layouts of kitchen and bath spaces.

Save Big and Raise Money for Homes for Our Troops



As the 12th anniversary of 9/11 is upon us, many are looking for ways to give back to the brave men and women that have served our country. One way to do just that is to shop at Construction Resources' Counters for a Cause sales event on Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013.


Money raised will help benefit for Homes for Our Troops, a national non-profit that builds specially adapted homes for service members who have been severely injured in combat operations since Sept. 11, 2001.

Hosted by the Artisan Group, the past two events have raised almost $60,000 for the organization, with Construction Resources/ Atlanta Kitchen, Inc. being the highest contributor to the fundraiser. Last year, the company donated over $6,500. This year, all Construction Resources’ companies, including Atlanta Marble Mfg, Inc., Atlanta Kitchen, Inc., Atlanta Glass & Mirror, Inc, Builders Floor Covering and Tile, LLC, and, of course, Atlanta Kitchen will be participating.


During Counters for a Cause, Construction Resources will be offering up to 70 percent off name brand products such as Artisan Granite,  Bonotti Marble, Cambria, Piedrafina, Heritage Wood, Saratoga Soapstone, Kohler, Corian, Vetrazzo, Shaw, Grohe, Dal Tile, Moen, Coastal, Rubbermaid, Mohawk and more.
