Construction Resources Builds to Honor

This spring, Construction Resources assisted PulteGroup with their Built to Honor Program. This program partners with Operation FINALLY HOME, working to build mortgage-free homes for wounded veterans. Construction Resources donated and installed countertops into the home’s bathrooms. Contributions from them and others trade partners allowed the PulteGroup to turn over a new, fully decorated home to the deserving family on June 11.

Construction Resources donated and installed cultured marble countertops in the family’s new Barrington Estates home. The natural-colored marble adds a note of luxury to the homes bathrooms, where the company also installed framed mirrors, upgraded bath hardware, a nickel semi-frameless shower door and shelving. Since marble is naturally softer than other types of countertops, they will remain in top shape with little to no maintenance for years to come.

Builders Floor Covering and Tile’s Twist on Trends was a Winning Idea

What does it take to win Best Booth at the 36th Annual Spring Atlanta Home Show? Construction Resources’ Builders Floor Covering and Tile certainly knows. The company’s booth took home the award back in March for having a unique, creative booth that showed off some trendy samples.
Builders Floor Covering and Tile beat out hundreds of participating companies this year with a booth that is sure to be remembered by everyone. With a focus on trends, the company decided to make two stand-out visuals that displayed some of their popular products as fashion pieces on mannequins.
Two dresses were designed and created using glass tile and wood samples. One dress flaunted a fun, summer style using carefully weaved glass tile. The cool look was even topped off with some stylish sandals and a sunhat. The other dress was an evening gown made out of wood samples. The dark finish was contrasted with a specially-made carpet shawl, which tied the whole look together.
Both mannequins were placed in front of colorful displays that showed off several other products Builders Floor Covering and Tile offers. Products on display included carpet, hardwood, tile and laminate from makers such as Mohawk, Shaw, Karastan, Stanton and more.
The designing and creating process took a lot of hard work, but the company’s hard work paid off. The summer dress can be seen at the Decatur design center, and the evening gown is showcased at the Buckhead design center.
